The game
The playing field, also called the "tableau", consists of a table with lines as well as numbers, words and symbols. The centrepiece of the table is the roulette wheel, which is divided into 37 or 38 fields - from 0 or 00 to 36.
The numbers that are not arranged in arithmetical order are alternately in a red or black field. Only the number 0 or 00 is in a green field. On the tableau, however, the numbers 0 or 00 to 36 appear in natural (arithmetical) order.
With "your bets please", the croupier releases the game and asks you to place your bets. You may now place your chips on your desired betting options on the tableau. If you wish, the croupier will also be happy to place bets for you.
The croupier sets the kettle in motion and after the announcement "Rien ne va plus" or "no more bets", no more bets may be placed. As soon as the ball stops on a number compartment, both the winning number and the winning colour are announced loud and clear.
The winning number is marked with a "dolly" so that the croupier can proceed with the payout: all chances related to the announced number are paid out, and a new game begins.
Stakes
As a rule, the gaming guests make their own bets, but the croupier is happy to fulfil your wishes if time permits. You have the option of placing your bets with your own personal coloured chips.
You can also participate in American Roulette with the usual value chips. After you have finished your game, we ask you to change your coloured chips back into value chips immediately at the table before you leave the table. The minimum bets are marked on the respective table.
