Black Jack

More than just 17 and 4

The game

Black Jack, also called "21" or "17+4", is pure pleasure and excitement. You are your own master and decide for yourself whether you want another card and get closer to 21 than the croupier.

The aim in Black Jack is to get your card value (two or more cards) closer to 21 than the croupier, without exceeding this value.

At the Black Jack table, five to nine game boxes can be arranged. The game is played with up to 6 decks of 52 cards each. The seated guests are the box holders. Standing guests who play on the boxes must respect the decision of the box owners.

You double your bet (1:1) if your cards do not exceed the score of 21 and have a higher value than those of the croupier. If you win with a blackjack, your bet is paid 3:2 or 5:6.

The game process

After all the guests have placed their bets on the boxes, each game box receives a total of two cards and the croupier himself receives an open card.

In the given order - starting with the box closest to the "Sabot" (card shuffler) - each box owner may now ask for one or more cards until he thinks he is close enough to 21. However, if he exceeds the value of 21 with his cards, the croupier confiscates the stake and the cards of the box.

After the last box holder has also waived another card and has verbally announced this by "standing" or "no more card", the croupier must draw another card himself.

From the card value 17 onwards, he is no longer allowed to draw a card. If the croupier has exceeded the value 21, all participants remaining in the game win. If the croupier has not exceeded 21, only the guests whose card value is closer to 21 than the croupier's win. If the guest and the croupier have the same score, it is a "stand-off", i.e. a "draw" and the guest keeps his bet.
